These capsules release a measured amount of CS irritant into the air when heated on a hot plate. Effective for use in training people in how to quickly and properly wear protective gear under adverse conditions. Used in basic training by many military agencies.

CS Pyrotechnic Tablets are also commonly used for respirator training. The tablets are ignited and give off a measured amount of CS Smoke.
