The 12-PF fires a finned stabilized rubber projectile that is designed to be direct fired at the target subject. This round is effective at short to medium ranges

These projectiles combine the effect of an impact munition with irritant powder to provide an additional deterent effect on the targeted subject. On impact the finned rubber projectile releases a payload of either OC, CS or CN powder. A training inert powder version is also available
